The Landing:
Celebrate recovery for students
6th-12th Grade

Through the Landing, our students can find a safe place to find help, hope, and healing by engaging in the principles of recovery and growing in a relationship with Jesus Christ.

What to Expect:

when and where

The landing meets Fridays at 7pm at the top floor of the Children’s Building at the Lake Forest Campus.

The Lessons

This time serves to connect our students and leaders and build friendships through games. It is followed by a lesson about recovery that our students can engage with, participate in, and apply to their lives.

Small Groups

The Landing uses the same five Small Group Guidelines that adult Celebrate Recovery uses in Open Share small groups and walks through a series of questions that pertain to that night’s teaching time. Small Group gives our students time to process and personalize the recovery principles that they are learning.

Fellowship Time

This time serves as a place for students and leaders to connect, build relationships, and continue processing the lesson after the service.
